CCIE Routing and Switching certifies the expert-level skills required to plan, prepare, operate, monitor and troubleshoot complex converged networks. Professionals who achieve CCIE have demonstrated their technical skills at the highest level.

Cisco announced a new framework to validate skills required by industries to meet the demand for evolving technologies and business insights. Changes to the Expert-Level certifications include assessments of evolving technologies and a modular and unified exam topics format. Revised written exams with evolving technologies domain will be available for testing beginning.
